The AX Palace in Malta truly exceeded all of my expectations, earning a well-deserved 10/10 rating. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm, professional service that set the tone for an exceptional stay. The location is ideal—centrally situated, making it convenient to explore the vibrant city and nearby attractions, yet peaceful enough to feel like a true escape. The room was immaculately clean, elegantly furnished, and offered a stunning view. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities, such as the luxurious bathroom, high-speed Wi-Fi, and complimentary refreshments, were top-notch. The facilities at AX Palace are outstanding. The rooftop pool area was a personal highlight, providing breathtaking panoramic views of Malta. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The spa and fitness center are also excellent, offering a range of services to cater to all needs. The dining experience was unforgettable. The breakfast buffet was rich and varied, featuring high-quality ingredients and catering to all dietary preferences. I also dined at the on-site restaurant, and the food was nothing short of exquisite—each dish was a testament to the chef's skill and creativity. Above all, the staff made my stay truly memorable. Every team member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring that I had the best possible experience. The hotel met our expectations based on the previous reviews. The location is very good, only a few minutes walk away from the ferry to Valletta. We spent 4 nights there from Thursday to Monday. The neighbourhood is very quiet and the hotel is fairly new so the windows are also well insulated. This gives you piece and quiet in the room (provided you don't have noisy guests next door, but this was not the case). We booked a standard room overlooking the inner yard without a balcony, but got an upgrade to a deluxe room with a balcony. The double bed was huge (probably about 220 cm) and very comfortable. Everyone from the staff we met was very polite and friendly, and not in an artificial way. The breakfast was very good, the cappucino was excellent and the prices in the Talk of Town cafe where we had drinks and some food in the evenings was very reasonable. The wellness area has a small pool (big enough for kids) and a few different types of saunas. All in all we very much enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at AX The Palace with our 6-month old baby for a week and we had the loveliest time. The hotel is located centrally in Sliema, 5 minutes walk to the sea front, including the Valetta Ferry, tour boats and bus stops. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-looked after. Staff are incredibly friendly - every single staff member we met went out of their way to help us, but a special mention goes to Sailendra & Leonie at breakfast and Dominika upstairs at the pool bar - you really made our holiday, thank you! Breakfast was fantastic - options for everybody, fresh and tasty, and coffee was good too. All of the facilities were excellent and well-maintained. The pools are all great, we only used the rooftop pool, which is fabulous on a hot day. The view of Valetta from the roof is fantastic too. Guests were all respectful, with well-behaved children. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. I would book again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic hotel, beyond expectations. Beautiful hotel. Huge rooms, modern. All in top condition. Cleaned thoroughly. The person who cleaned was even folding my clothes. Onces my slippers were broken they replaced them without me having to ask. The service is excellent. Stuff is most helpful. Once kids next door were making a mess at night. Not only the receptionist came twice to talk to them but offered a different room for the night. Breakfast is excellent. Everything is fresh and there’s not just the standard stuff. We had a dinner at the asian restaurant for the New Year. Food and service were great. Great location. Next to the ferry, 2 supermarkets, 2 shopping malls and a shopping street. Yet in a quiet neighbourhood. There’s a beautiful church just in front. In general people in Malta are very friendly. We were very much amazed. Had a fantastic trip and hope to come back.

Staff are absolutely fantastic. Our kids ended up ill with chest infections on the second day and I asked could they recommend a doctor. Reception had us an appointment within 5 mins and 10 mins later they were being examined by a doctor located just around the corner. In less than an hour from the request we were back in the hotel with antibiotics for both kids who were much better within a day. Food selection at the buffet is amazing and the staff are so attentive and helpful they were especially good with our young kids. Special shout out to Leonie and Marvin for making mealtime so pleasant and your interactions and kindness with the kids
